Anyone wishing to register for the first time, transfer an address, or make a name change for the November 5th General Election, may do so in the their respective county’s Court Clerk’s office until 4:00 p.m. on October 7th.
A person may also register or make changes at the Bureau of Motor vehicles as they renew their driver’s license or at indianavoters.com.
A photo ID card such as an Indiana Driver’s License U.S. Passport, or other photo ID with an expiration date, issued by the State of Indiana or the U.S. Government is required at registration.
In Knox County, the Clerk’s office is on the second floor of the Knox County Courthouse. In Daviess, County, due to the Court House renovation, the Clerk’s office is temporarily located in the basement of the Government Center and is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Voters must be 18 years old by the November 5th General election to register.
