Curtis Edward Bobe, aged 57, passed away on July 30, 2024, in Bruceville, Indiana. Born on December 16, 1966, in Vincennes, IN, Curtis lived a life that was as vibrant and energetic as he was. Known for his kindheartedness, affable nature, and loving spirit, Curtis nurtured relationships with warmth and genuine concern for others.
With a passion for the outdoors, motorcycles, and a special affection for dogs, Curtis embraced every moment with enthusiasm and joy. He was a proud graduate of his local high school and carried the entrepreneurial spirit into his adult life. Formerly a restaurant owner, Curtis later co-owned Hoosier Gundealer, where he was known for his friendly service and expert knowledge.
Curtis’s life was enriched by his loving family and friends. He is survived by his beloved sweetheart, Christine Dill; his siblings, Chris and Michelle Bobe of Bruceville, IN; and his step-siblings, Shelly Cary (Paul), Judy Pohl (Mark), Barbara Vermillion (Dick), Kenny Jones, and Rick Jones (Tiffiney), all of Vincennes, IN. His father, William Edward Bobe, along with numerous nieces and nephews also continue to cherish his memory. He was preceded in death by his mother, Sue Ellen “Moore” Creek.
His absence will leave a void in the hearts of those who knew him, but his legacy of kindness, friendship, and love will continue to inspire all. Curtis Edward Bobe’s life was a testament to the joy of giving and the beauty of living a life filled with amiable companionship and open-heartedness.
