The National Weather Service will conduct SKYWARN Spotter Training for Knox and Daviess counties this evening.
The session will be held from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at the Washington Community Building in Eastside Park at 405 Burkhart Drive.
SKYWARN Spotter volunteers help keep their local communities safe by providing timely and accurate reports of severe weather to the National Weather Service.
Although SKYWARN spotters provide essential information for all types of weather hazards, the focus is reporting on severe local thunderstorms.
