The Lincoln Alices opened up Sectional play with a 43-12 win over Princeton. BB McCrary rushed 12 times for 169 yards and a touchdown. Mac McCormick carried the ball 14 times 103 yards and three touchdowns. Quarterback Cooper Collins had a rushing touchdown while Moises Marroquin returned an interception 55 yards for a touchdown. The Alices advance to the second round and travel to Heritage Hills to face the Patriots. Heritage Hills eliminated Gibson Southern 35-18.

The Volleyball Regional finals are set for today.
At Loogootee…. Two One- A Titles will be decided. The host Lions will face Christian Academy of Indiana
at 4pm. At 7pm, Shakamak will take on Springs Valley.
At Mitchell…A 2-A Regional final has Barr-Reeve playing Pekin Eastern at one. At 4pm…It’s a 3-A battle
Between Evansville Memorial and Silver Creek.
Turning to Jennings County…At one it’s a 2-A Regional Final between Brownstown Central and Tecumseh.
At 4pm…Jasper will face the host school for a 3-A Regional Championship.
Finally at Bloomington North…at Four it will be a 4-A battle between Castle and Franklin Community. All
Winners will move onto the four team semi-state the following next Saturday..
