Those who knew Alicia will fondly recall her variousinterests. She enjoyed golfing with John on Sunday’s, reading, doing puzzles (especially around Christmas time), going to the movies, Euchre nights with her parents or friends, spending time with her niece, Aurora, and yearly vacations with John and Carly. Alicia’s pets were a source of constant companionship and she cherished the time she spent with them.
Alicia’s culinary skills were unmatched, and she relished the opportunity to cook for her family and friends. Her home was a hub of warmth and hospitality, especially during the Christmas season, in which she loved decorating and hosting for. Her festive spirit made the holidays a magical time for all who were lucky enough to experience them with her.
More than anything, she loved being at her home. She and John would take nightly walks around their property and Carly would join when she was home from Denver. They always stopped at the top of the hill to sit on the bench John built, talking about the day and listening to the windchimes.
Alicia’s faith was a cornerstone of her life. She was an active member of the Word of Life Church, where she found spiritual fulfillment and community. Her involvement in the Emmaus Walk reflected her commitment to her faith and her desire to serve others.
Alicia’s legacy is one of kindness, generosity, and a calling to serve. She touched the lives of many with her genuine concern for others and her willingness to lend a helping hand.
