The Knox County Health Department, in partnership with Republic Services is offering a FREE trash day for all Knox County Residents.
The free trash day will be Saturday, July 20th from 8:00 AM until Noon at Republic Services location 27-06 North 2nd Street in Vincennes.
Proof of residency will be required.
Knox County residents can bring all trash and large items for disposal including furniture, mattresses, carpeting tied in three-foot bundles, and small appliances that do not contain chlorofluorocarbons and hydrofluorocarbons such as refrigerators and air conditioners.
Items that won’t be accepted include construction debris, building materials, tires, paint, liquid waste, electronics, and hazardous waste.
No commercial haulers will be allowed.
