Howard E. Dillon II, 69, of Vincennes, IN passed away May 25, 2024. He was born in Vincennes, IN on June 23, 1954, to Howard and Patricia (Grove) Dillon. He graduated from Lincoln High School in 1972. Howard proudly served his country in the United States Army. He worked for Essex Wire in maintenance for 33 years prior to his retirement.
In his free time, he enjoyed being a member of the Sportsman Club, fishing, watching racing, camping, and hunting deer and squirrel. He was a simple man and will be deeply missed by all.
He was preceded in death by his father Howard E. Dillon I.; wife Sandra Dillon; and brother Larry Joe Dillon.
Howard is survived by his daughters Susan (Mark) Leonard and Heather Dillion and family; mother Pat Dillon; grandchildren Billy (Chelsea) Hillyard, Ryan Hillyard, Sara Hillyard, Jocelyn Dyer, Raven Dillion; 4 great-grandchildren; brother Robert (Katey) Dillon; and several friends.
Goodwin-Sievers is honored to be entrusted with the care of Mr. Dillon. Visitation will be held May 29, 2024, from 5 to 7pm and May 30, 2024, from 10 am to service time at 524 Broadway St. The funeral service will begin promptly at 11 am on May 30, 2024, with burial and military rites at Memorial Park following.
