GSH Suggesting Routes Around Sixth Street Closure

      Good Samaritan Hospital in Vincennes is suggesting two detours to get to its Emergency Room and Sixth Street entrance due to a road closure scheduled for this week by the Indiana Department of Transportation.
      INDOT is expected to close Sixth Street between Vigo and Willow Streets.
      Once the closure begins, this portion of Sixth Street is expected to remain closed for approximately two weeks, depending on the weather.
      During this time, patients and visitors will need to use alternate routes to reach the Sixth Street side of the Good Samaritan campus.
      Two primary detours are recommended:

      • Route 1: Use Seventh Street to Nicholas Street to enter the Green Parking Lot.
      • Route 2: From Willow Street, take Ninth Street to Barnett, then turn onto Seventh Street and access the Green Parking Lot at Nicholas.
