More than 20,000 CenterPoint Energy customers lost power during Wednesday night’s storms. By Friday morning, crews had restored most service, but about 3,000 people still remained without power. Vanderburgh County leads that total with more than 2,300 outages. Posey County reports over 500, and Warrick County is down to just above 120. High winds and heavy rain brought down trees and power lines across the area.
