Indiana State University and the Pride Center of Terre Haute settled a lawsuit over the 2025 Pride Festival. The Pride Center accused ISU of moving the event off campus without warning, violating the group’s First Amendment rights and university policies. In a joint statement Thursday, ISU, the Pride Center, and the City of Terre Haute announced the university will serve as a non-financial sponsor of Pride Fest 2025, scheduled for September at Fairbanks Park. ISU says it will keep working with the Pride Center and student groups on LGBTQ+ issues.
