Flooding New a Major Concern Through the Weekend

Even though this area was battered by strong to severe storms last niht, the area is still not out of the weather watches yet. A flood warning has now been issued for the area through Sunday.
Heavy rains are possible during the period, leading to both low-land and river flooding. Those in flood-prone areas are reminded to take your high water precautions. Also, when driving, authorities remind you not to drive over flooded roadways, and “turn around-don’t drown.”
