IU Analysis Finds Indiana’s Population Growth from Foreign Immigration

Indiana University has analyzed U.S. Census Bureau data and says the state’s population increase last year was mostly from foreign immigration.
The state grew by over 44-thousand residents to six-point-9-million people and it was the largest increase since 2008.
Immigrants made up nearly 31-thousand of the new residents for 70-percent of the growth.
