Wanda Lene “Clark” Clark, aged 84, of Owensboro, KY, passed away on March 6, 2025, in Vincennes, IN. Born on September 7, 1940, to Roy Preston and Margaret Florence “Bradley” Clark, her life was a testament to the values of family, faith, and love.
She was the beloved matriarch, leaving a legacy of caring and warmth. Her family was her pride and joy, and she is lovingly remembered by her children, Julia Loch of Vincennes, IN, Gerald (Jill) Clark of Oaktown, IN, and Roger Clark of Owensville, IN. Her five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren, as well as her sister Patricia Clark of Vincennes, IN, and sister-in-law, Donna “Clark” Contreras of Laredo, TX, will cherish her memory and keep her spirit alive in their hearts. Wanda was preceded in death by her devoted husband, Kenneth Earl Clark, her parents, her seven brothers, and her four sisters.
A graduate of local schools, Wanda embraced her role as a homemaker with grace and dedication after marrying her sweetheart, Kenneth, on June 22, 1959. Cooking and crafts were not only her hobbies but also a way to express her love and creativity. A faithful member of the Baptist church, Wanda’s friendly nature touched many within her community.
Wanda will always be remembered as a loving, friendly, and creative soul who enriched the lives of all who knew her. Her unwavering kindness and the beautiful simplicity with which she lived her life will forever be imprinted on those she has left behind.
There will be a visitation on Wednesday, March 12, 2025, from 10:30 am to 1:00 pm at Fredrick and Son McClure-Utt Funeral Home, Oaktown Chapel, with service following at 1:00 pm officiated by Pastor Trevor Murry.
