Vincennes Police say their investigation into a possible home security scam has revealed representatives from the security company were legit.
Police began their investigation back on November 7th when they received reports of alleged fake security company representatives attempting to or entering homes for the purposes of “upgrades” to security systems.
When the individuals were allowed entry into homes, they asked for the security code to the residence, and it was given to them.
Police tracked the representatives to a company in Nashville, Tennessee.
Police say the regional manager of the company was contacted by an investigator so their employees’ behavior towards Vincennes residents could be addressed.
