The South Knox Boys Cross Country team finished second at the Barr-Reeve Invitational.
The Host Vikings were first with 38 points followed by the Spartans at 42. Vincennes Lincoln finished 8th
And North Knox 9th.
Top finisher for South Knox was Issac Singleton who was second. Zach Woolard placed 7th and Ezra Anson 9th.
For Vincennes Lincoln…Brody Francis was 18th. Carlton Armes was 45th for North Knox.
Barr-Reeve won the girls meet. North Knox was a distant second. South Knox finished up 4th and Vincennes
Lincoln 9th. Sarah Nowaski of South Knox was first and Alli Hayden sixth. North Knox Freshman Eva Claycomb
was second and Rorri Bottum 11th. Megga Luchtefeld was 24th.
The Lincoln Volleyball team lost to Heritage Hills 3-0. Matti Collins had 14 digs and 15 assists. Amya Woodall 17 digs.
Lincoln did win the JV contest 2-1. Presley Davis recorded 21 assists while Lexi Bailey added eight kills.
The Vincennes University volleyball team took a pair of matches at the Showdown on the Wabash at the
VU PE Complex. The Blazers beat St Louis Community College 3-0 and Calhoun CC 3-0. VU is now 18-8 on the season.
Speaking of Volleyball, the IHSAA sectional draw is tonight beginning at seven.
Back to cross country where the South Knox Middle School Boys Cross Country team finished 6th out of 56
Teams at Westview High School. Henry Ellerman finished 20th for the Spartans while Lane Hartwick 53rd
And Taylor Mikiska 54th. Clark Middle School finished 24th. Jack Lee paced CMS by placing 74th and Landon
Carter 76th. The Clark girls didn’t have enough for a team score but Sawyer Keusch was 55th and Kaitly Johnson 74th.
