Terry Neal Everett, aged 59, an individual of spirited nature and infectious humor, passed away on September 26, 2024, in Vincennes, IN. Born on January 15, 1965, at RAF Lakenheath, UK, Terry’s life was characterized by an unwavering optimism that he carried into every facet of his existence.
Terry grew up in a close-knit family and carried his early bonds throughout his life. His beloved wife, Samantha “Cornwell” Everett, cherishes thirty-four years of memories woven with love and laughter since their marriage on June 23, 1990. He was a devoted son to his mother, Cynthia “Sam” Jensen, and his indelible presence will also be deeply missed by his siblings: Tyson Everett and Rachel Everett-Buck, and by his uncle Don (Janet) Everett, aunt Shirley Beaman, and cousins Dale Beaman, William Beaman, and Susan Beaman-Wolf. Terry’s joyous nature was a gift to his siblings-in-law: Joni (Randy) Mitchell, Max (Becky) Nickless, Jamie (Matt) Sargent, and Harley (Shelly) Nickless Jr. His nieces and nephews—Rachel, Brianna, Autumn, Joe, Rodger, Carrie, Coby, and Carson—will carry forward his legacy of humor and courage. Terry’s father, Norman Everett, and his brothers, Matthew and Paul Everett, preceded him in death, leaving a legacy of love and strength behind.
Terry’s passion for learning led him to attend both Indiana State and University of Tennessee. His valuable service in the Navy was followed by a fulfilling 25-year career at Toyota. Terry fostered camaraderie through the Bicknell French Club and shared adventures with friends at the Rod and Gun Club. His enthusiasm for the great outdoors was evident in his love for hunting and fishing, and he delighted in the worlds of stock trading and computer games, where his keen intellect and strategic thinking shone. Terry loved nothing more than to be with those he held dear.
Remembered as a man who lived life to the fullest, Terry’s exuberant spirit, and readiness to share a laugh, will continue to inspire all who had the pleasure of knowing him. He leaves us with cherished memories and an enduring example of a life well-lived.
