Kathleen Ann “Fauson” Taylor, aged 83, a long-time resident of Vincennes, Indiana, passed away on September 21, 2024. Born on August 22, 1941, in Lansing Michigan, she was a beacon of love and kindness to everyone who knew her.
Kathleen’s life was marked by her unwavering devotion to her family and her community. At a young age, she attended high school in Michigan and went on to nurture a family brimming with love and creativity. Kathleen married her beloved husband, Garry Taylor, on June 20, 1959, in Lansing, Michigan. Together, they crafted a home that welcomed friends, laughter, and cherished memories.
After her role as a homemaker, which she performed with unparalleled grace and dedication, Kathleen became an active member of the Community Church of Vincennes and the Vincennes Women’s Club. Her hands were rarely still, often seen lovingly stitching quilts that would adorn the homes of her loved ones, each a testament to her creative spirit.
She is lovingly remembered by her five grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, and her siblings Nikki M. Hackett and James K. Fauson of Lansing, Michigan. Kathleen’s legacy of love continues to live on through them. Her passing was preceded by her husband Garry, her daughter Kari Vieck, her son Robert Taylor, and her parents, Robert and Ellen “Halladay” Fauson.
Kathleen’s life, defined by loving kindness and a creative soul, leaves behind a tapestry of memories that will be cherished forever by all who were fortunate to cross her path.
There will be a visitation on Saturday, September 28, 2024 from 10:00am to 12:00pm at Fredrick and Son McClure-Utt Funeral Home, Vincennes Chapel.
