The Indiana Department of Transportation says State Road 68 in Gibson County is scheduled to be closed Monday near Cynthiana for preventive maintenance to the bridge over Jordan Creek.
Work is expected to take a week to complete, depending on the weather.
The detour will be State Road 65 to State Road 168 to U.S. 41.
Local traffic will have access up to the point of closure.
