Phillip Eugene Seals, a beloved husband, father, and grandfather, passed away on July 22, 2024, in his hometown of Vincennes, IN. Born on April 24, 1952, the son of Louden and Naomi (Stewart) Seals, Phillip led a life filled with love, adventure, and dedication to his family.
Phillip was a proud member of Union Local 561, where he found fulfillment in his work. Known for his love of fishing and hunting, he found joy in sharing these passions with his grandchildren. Exploring the outdoors, searching for arrowheads, and mushroom hunting were among his favorite pastimes, showcasing his adventurous spirit and love for nature.
Phillip was the devoted husband of Sharon Seals, sharing a bond of love and companionship that will transcend time. His fierce love for his family was evident in everything he did, always putting their needs and happiness above all else.
A man of action, Phillip never sat still, always busy with projects and activities that brought him joy. His infectious energy and zest for life touched all who knew him, leaving lasting memories of his vibrant personality.
Phillip is survived by his wife, Sharon (McCoy) Seals; children, Sonya Mae Turner, Phillip Eugene Seals Jr., Joseph Michael Seals (Heather), and Christopher Shane Seals (Melissa); grandchildren, Nathan Carie, Cheyenne Seals, Braedon Stevens, Tristan Seals, Dante Seals, Franklin Seals, Jadden Seals, Ava Seals, Katelyn Turner, Thomas Turner, and Brielle Seals; and three great grandchildren. Phillip is preceded in death by his parents, Louden and Naomi Seals; brothers and sisters, Donna Wilkens, Molly Kidd, Ida Miles, Ada Mayne, Charles Seals, Chester Seals, Ronnie Seals, Frank Seals, Louden Seals, and Stewart Seals.
Funeral services to celebrate Phillip will be held at the Goodwin-Sievers Funeral Home in Vincennes on Saturday, July 27, 2024. Visitation will be from 11:00 am until the time of service at 2:00 pm.
Phillip Eugene Seals will forever be remembered for his loving nature, adventurous spirit, and unwavering dedication to his family.
