t is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Becky R. Shackelford. Daughter of Ramon Lloyd Shackelford and Norma Maxine (Russell), she was born on March 9th, 1953, Becky lived a life full of love and compassion, leaving a lasting impact on all who had the privilege of knowing her. On July 2nd, 2024, Becky peacefully departed this world in Columbia, MO, surrounded by the love of her family.
Becky was a devoted member of Rolling Thunder Helping Veterans, dedicating her time and efforts to supporting those who served our country. She took immense pride in her family, adoring her grandchildren and great-grandbaby. Becky found solace in watching television with her companion, Steve Schultz, whom she loved dearly. Their bond was a testament to the power of love and companionship.
Surviving Becky is her companion, Steve Schultz; daughter, Heather Mallet (Lance); granddaughters, Victoria Harmon, Jasmine Buckels, Whitney and Vanessa Mallet; and great granddaughter; sisters, Marsha Chambers (Jack), Tracie Sinders (Virgil), and Sara Murphy (David); and several nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
In honor of Becky’s life and legacy, there will be a visitation at Goodwin-Sievers Funeral Home in Vincennes on July 18, 2024, from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm allowing friends and community members to pay their respects and celebrate Becky’s remarkable life. A private burial will happen at a later date. Goodwin-Sievers Funeral Home is honored to be entrusted with the care of Becky.
